MBR is the abbreviation of Membrane Bio-Reactor, which is a brand-new efficient sewage treatment process produced by the organic combination of modern membrane separation technology and traditional biological treatment technology.
The MBR process organically combines the membrane separation technology in the separation project with the traditional wastewater biological treatment technology, which not only eliminates the need for the construction of secondary sedimentation tanks, but also greatly improves the solid-liquid separation efficiency. Moreover, due to the mass concentration of activated sludge in the aeration tank The increase in sludge and the emergence of special bacteria (especially the dominant flora) in the sludge increase the rate of biochemical reactions. At the same time, by reducing the F/M ratio to reduce the amount of surplus sludge produced (or even zero), so as to basically solve many outstanding problems existing in the traditional activated sludge method.
Compared with other biological treatment processes, membrane bioreactor technology has many obvious advantages, and its characteristics are as follows:
1) Solid-liquid separation can be carried out efficiently, the separation effect is far better than the traditional sedimentation tank, the effluent quality is good, the suspended solids and turbidity are close to 0, and it can be directly reused to realize the recycling of sewage;
2) The high-efficiency interception effect of the membrane enables microorganisms to be completely trapped in the reactor, which realizes the complete separation of the hydraulic residence time (HRT) and the sludge age (SRT) of the reactor, making the operation control more flexible;
3) The microbial mass concentration in the reactor is high, and the impact load is resistant;
4) It is conducive to the growth and reproduction of slow-proliferating nitrifying bacteria, and the system nitrification efficiency can be improved. It has the function of nitrogen and phosphorus removal by changing the operation mode.
